Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dimen Works ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information through dimenworks.com, dimenpro.com and our software products, including Dimen Pro.
1. Information we collect
- Your work data. Files, measurements and reports you create with our software stay on your computer. We do not collect or upload them.
- License activation. When you activate a license, our licensing provider records your license code, a computer identifier generated from your hardware, your IP address and the activation date. This is used only to validate your license and prevent misuse.
- Purchases. Orders from outside Taiwan are processed by FastSpring, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. FastSpring collects your payment details; we receive your name, email, company, country and order details, but never your full card number. Orders from Taiwan are handled directly by email; we keep the company name, tax ID, contact details and order details needed for quotes and invoices.
- Support and contact. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details to respond.
- Product updates. If you ask to be notified about a product, we store your email address for that purpose only.
- Website. Our web servers record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to deliver and license our software, process orders, provide support, send notices you requested, and keep our services secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run our business: FastSpring (orders from outside Taiwan), softWORKZ (license activation), and our website and email hosting providers. They may process data outside Taiwan under their own privacy policies.
4. Retention
We keep order and license records as long as your license is active and as required by tax and accounting law. Support emails and notification sign-ups are deleted when no longer needed or when you ask.
5. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop receiving emails, by writing to roger@dimenworks.com. We will respond within 30 days. Requests are handled in line with Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable laws.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Children
Our products are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
